Fantasy League 2022 came to a close on Saturday, 15 October 2022 (also World Squash Day.)
A massive THANK YOU to all our sponsors, organisers and the players for helping to make Fantasy League 2022 a fun event for all participants.
Below is a summary of the final standings and results, as well as the winners of the various awards.

Winning Team: Cabernet
Runner Up: Malbec
Best spirit awards: Charmaine van Niekerk and Jan Howell
Honorary mentions:
- Cabernet played the entire tournament of 7 rounds with the same 5 players throughout. They were the only team to never require a reserve. That’s really great commitment.
- Karen Blom was the tournament “giant killer” beating a few of our top mens league players along the way.
We also held two “side quest competitions”: One was to get participants to come up with a new name for Fantasy League 2023 (see explanation below) and the other was to get photo submissions from players for the best photo of the tournament.

- Best photo submission: Bianca Besener
